  • If the choreography is inspired or copied from a video, proper credit must be provided before the performance.

Experience the grace and artistry of classical dance forms such as Kathak, Bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi, and more. Participants will be judged on talent, technique, and expression, with the option to use live music, provided strict guidelines are followed.

Rules & Regulations

  • Classical dances from approved schools such as Kathak, Kathakali, Bharatnatyam, Sattriya, Manipuri, Kuchipudi, Mohiniattam, or Odissi are eligible.

  • Performance Duration: Min- 2 minutes, Max- 7 minutes.

  • Music Requirements:
    -Film songs, fusion songs, or semi-classical music are not permitted.
    -Live music is allowed with a maximum of three accompanying artists. Prior notification during registration is mandatory.

  • A brief description of the dance story, if applicable, and details of the accompanying song (including meaning, composer, raga, taal) must be submitted in English at the time of registration.

  • Maximum of 5 minutes allowed for setting up props or instruments.

  •  Participants must report to the In-Charge of the competition at least two hours before their performance.

VIVIDHA

Showcase your talent in traditional and classical Indian dance forms with teams of 2 to 15 members. This competition welcomes ethnic, folk, classical, and semi-classical styles, emphasizing rhythm, formation, expression, costumes, makeup, and sets. Live music is allowed with prior notice. The judges' decisions are final, and teams are responsible for removing their sets post-performance.

Showcase your musical talent by performing traditional compositions, focusing on swara, taal, raga selection, and overall composition quality. The performance must be completed within the allotted time of 10 minutes, with strict timings and behavioural guidelines.

  • Only traditional compositions are permitted. Cinema songs are strictly prohibited.

  • Participants must be dressed in appropriate attire for the performance.

It offers a platform for participants to demonstrate their ability to articulate thoughts and emotions effectively through written and spoken expression.

    -Participants must bring their own stationery (e.g., colors, sketches, Staedtler, etc.).
    -Use of micron pens is allowed.
    -A3 sheets will be provided by the organizers.
    -Final submission (one character per participant) must be an original creation.

Participants will have the opportunity to rebrand an existing brand by designing a new logo, color scheme, and tagline. The rebranding must be showcased through a well-designed poster. Teams will be assigned a brand on the spot and must present their reimagined concept within the given time.

“Show It Your Way” is an open-concept fashion platform where teams showcase their unique interpretation of a chosen theme through fashion, choreography, and presentation.   • The film may be black and white, color, or feature any special color treatment.

  • Content must be original and specifically created for CULT 2024.

  • Films can be shot using any camera (mobile phone, DSLR, or professional camera).

  • Films can be in any language, but if in a language other than Hindi or English, subtitles are required.
